Public Function & Image

Individuals of the British Royal Family participate in several royal functions year on year, right away through the United Kingdom, as properly documented in the Court Circular, to admire, support & to find out about the successes or goings-on of individuals, foundations & businesses in a selection of parts of life. As representatives of the sovereign, they regularly unite with the public in celebrating historical incidents, festivals, celebratory and shocking incidences and often also funds or partakes in many generous, intellectual and communal activities.

Their appointments abroad on behalf of the United Kingdom (also referred to as State Appointments when the Queen publicly visits other heads of state) brings public notice to harmonious associations within & between the Commonwealth and other nations, to British produce and trade, & to Britain as a historical, vacation, & holiday location. Their existing jobs and usual; positions forms the peak of an up-to-the-minute “royal court,” and provide a distinctly British and historical vision to official ceremonies (e.g. Trooping the Colour) & flavour to public proceedings (e.g. State Parties, Ascot).

During their lives they receive immense journalist exposure in the form of photographic, written & radio commentary regarding their daily lives, family associations, means of passage, traits, attire, behaviour, & public roles. Whilst on holiday in England why not find out about the Royal Family England.

Financial Support

Assets that support the Queen in the function of her duties as the leader of state of the UK comes from the Civil List. This is a return of a small part of the revenue from the Crown Lands that are surrendered by the monarch to parliament at the start of every reign; all Crown Land being controlled by The Crown Estates, an institution liable to parliament. In the 2003-04 monetary year, the sum total made available was one-hundred and seventy-six million pounds, where the Queen’s payments was only thirty six million pounds. The Queen’s expenses doesn’t however contain the price of protection.
